Furniture Sales Associate
Are you looking for a fun and challenging career working with people? Our Furniture Sales Associates work closely with customers to determine their needs by answering questions about our products and recommending solutions suitable for them. Candidates must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Responsibilities of a Furniture Sales Associate
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• Follow and achieve store’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchase
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
Skills
• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Basic Math skills
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25,000.00 to $35,000.00 /year
Delivery/Warehouse
No furniture store is complete without a self-motivated & dependable warehouse and delivery team! Candidates must be able to assemble, load, and unload furniture. A valid driver’s license and availability to work some weekends are required.
Responsibilities of Delivery/Warehouse personnel
• Loading & unloading furniture
• Unpacking & Furniture Assembly
• Driving and backing a 20' box truck
• Working with a team member to deliver & install furniture in customers homes with the utmost care.
• Installing Furniture on the showroom floor
• Must be available Monday through Friday 9:00-6:00 and some weekends.
• Valid drivers license required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $11.00 /hour
